Eligibility: Carl's Jr. Win Carl’s Jr. Burgers for A Year is open only to residents of the United States of America who are 18 years of age and older as of July 3, 2008. Employees of Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc. the immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, husband, wife, daughter, son, step-father, step-mother, step-daughter, step-son, step-brother, step-sister, half-brother, half-sister) and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

How to Play: The Win Carl’s Jr. Burgers for A Year contest begins at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT"), July 3, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT, September 20, 2008 (the "Promotion Period"). In order to participate in the Win Carl’s Jr. Burgers for A Year contest, you must sign up officially at www.wincarlsjrburgers.com providing all required information accurately. Participants must provide a valid email address to enter. Participation restricted to one entry per valid email address.

Participants entering to win The Win Carl’s Jr. Burgers for A Year contest will be added onto a contest participant list and will receive bi-weekly email updates, coupons and offers throughout the promotion. Entrants will be notified immediately via email that they have been entered into The Win Carl’s Jr. Burgers for A Year contest. The potential winner is subject to verification before any prize will be awarded.

Win Carl’s Jr. Burgers for A Year Prize Selection and Verification of Potential Winners: The selected potential winners must comply with all the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. An independent judging organization whose decisions as to the administration and operation of the Win Carl’s Jr. Burgers for A Year and the selection of the potential winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Win Carl’s Jr. Burgers for A Year. An entrant is not a winner of any prize by simply entering to participate.

(1 available) ARV: $75.00 iTunes Gift Card (1 available) redeemable at www.iTunes.com. iPod Shuffle- 1GB. ARV: $50.00 each. All prizes will be delivered via mail by the United States Postal Service and will be sent within six weeks of promotion end date.

Total ARV of all prizes/offers: $475.00. Prizes are provided by Carl's Jr.®. Gift certificates/cards are subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions as printed on the certificate/card. Prizes consist of only the items specifically listed as part of the prize. Prize cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted, or redeemed for cash.

Odds of winning are based on the number of eligible participants entering each day of the promotional period divided by the number of prizes available.

General Conditions: Carl’s Jr. and their respective agencies are not responsible for lost, late, damaged, delayed, incomplete, illegible, postage due, mutilated, misdirected entries, requests, claims, affidavits, releases and/or prizes. Carl’s Jr. and their respective agencies are not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer hardware or software or other technical failures, unauthorized human intervention, garbled or jumbled transmissions that may limit a user's ability to participate in this Promotion or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic, including without limitation, the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information regardless of cause and any injury or damage to any person's computer or mobile device related to or resulting from participating in or experiencing any material in connection with the Promotion. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all entries affected by such methods and be deemed tampering. Entry material/data that has been tampered with or altered is void. Carl’s Jr. reserves the right to cancel or modify the Win Carl’s Jr. Burgers for A Year contest if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Win Carl’s Jr. Burgers for A Year , as determined by Carl’s Jr. in its sole discretion. In such event, Carl’s Jr. reserves the right to award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Carl’s Jr. reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Win Carl’s Jr. Burgers for A Year or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, CARL’S JR.S, AS APPLICABLE, RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

No more than the stated number of prizes/offers will be awarded. In the event that a production, seeding or printing error or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes/offers, as set forth in these Official Rules, to be available and/or claimed, Carl’s Jr. reserve the right to award only the stated number of prizes/offers by random drawing among all legitimate eligible prize claimants.

All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winners will receive his/her prize/offer within approximately 4 weeks after the conclusion of the Win Carl’s Jr. Burgers for A Year contest. Entrants, by participating in this Promotion, hereby waive and release, and agree to hold harmless Carl’s Jr. and all of their respective officers, directors, employees and representatives and agents, from and against, any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that they may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability for any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death, and /or property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize/offer, or their participation in this Promotion, or any prize/offer-related activity. Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize/offer, winners/offer recipients agree that Carl’s Jr.and each of their related and affiliated companies may use the winner's/offer recipient's name, address (city, state), photograph, videotape, likeness, and/or prize/offer information for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes and to the use of statements made by or attributed to winner/offer recipient relating to Carl’s Jr. and each of their related and affiliated companies or to this Promotion and grants to Carl’s Jr. and each of their related and affiliated companies any and all rights to said use without further notice and/or compensation except where prohibited by law. By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges.
